Reservations

Effective April 1– December 12, 2009

Sailing Dates: April 1 - December 12, 2009
Vehicle reservations required on all sailings.
Schedules and fares subject to change without notice.


General Information

Summer Reservations should be made well in advance of the sailing date to avoid disappointment.

Persons holding reservations must check-in at vehicle ticket booth at least ONE HOUR prior to sailing time, otherwise reservation is void.

Reservation cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to sailing time or vehicle space will be charged.

Tickets must be purchased before boarding the vessel.

All Vehicles and Freight must be at dock at least ONE HOUR prior to sailing.

Wheelchair service is available (elevator service on MV Jiimaan only). Please advise ticket agent if such service is required.

Consumption of alcohol, unless purchased on board, is strictly prohibited as per LLBO regulations.

Passengers bound for the United States must have proper identification including birthdates for all members in party or they may be refused passage.

Vessel Owner/Operator assumes no responsibility for:

  • Contents of or damage incurred by vehicles in loading, transit or unloading.

  • Security or damage caused to or by motorcycles and bicycles for any reason while aboard the ship. Use of tiedowns recommended.

  • Pets or animals allowed above car deck only in designated areas and must be accompanied by owner. Please ask crew member for directions.

From Leamington/Kingsville to Pelee Island:
1 hr. 30 min.
From Pelee Island to Sandusky: 1 hr. 45 min.

Safety Regulations
All occupants must vacate vehicles while vessel is underway.

Warning - Coast Guard safety regulations prohibit the carriage of gasoline and propane in excess of the following quantities:

  • Recreational Vehicles: not more than two cylinders of propane safely secured to the vehicle in an upright position with valves closed and tagged
  • Automobiles: not more than one 25 litre container of gasoline
  • Motorboats: not more than two portable 25 litre containers

Passage and vehicle reservations must be made by mail or phone. Contact the Pelee Island reservation office. Your vehicle licence number and a valid Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card are required.
