The Owen Sound Transportation Company, Limited (OSTC) is under contract with the Ministry of Transportation to manage and operate the Pelee Island ferry service on Lake Erie between the ports of Kingsville, Leamington and Pelee Island in Ontario, and the port of Sandusky in Ohio.
As an integral part of Ontario’s tourism and transportation system, OSTC draws tourists to the region from April to mid-December each year.
Seasonally, the M.V. Jiimaan and M.V. Pelee Islander captain and crew total 70 employees with another 35 employees at our terminals in Leamington, Kingsville and Sandusky and on Pelee Island.
